Frequently asked questions
Does the backup include shared mailboxes / public folder? Can you exclude them?
M365 Secure covers mailbox licensed users only and therefore doesn’t include shared mailboxes. Shared mail boxes can be backed up by purchasing Acronis 365 Backup individually.
Do you need to manage each product in separate portals?
M365 Secure is a bundled product, bringing three services together seamlessly into one simple purchase journey, at a discounted rate. Once set up, management through each respective vendor portal, Microsoft, Vade and Acronis is straightforward.
Do all mailboxes need to be on 365 Secure?
Microsoft 365 Secure protects all your customers, users, mailboxes and data. It’s both cost effective and best practice to use M365 Secure on all mailboxes, to avoid weak areas vulnerable to attack or loss of data. However, you have the flexibility to choose which M365 subscriptions to add to M365 Secure.
Do I need to update my MX records?
No, this is one of the USP’s of the Vade Advanced Email Security service, once the solution has been configured and activated in the Vade management portal, in just a few clicks, the customer is protected and Vade lives natively inside M365 and remains hidden from the outside world and potential attackers.
What's the RRP for 365 Secure?

Are 365 Secure mailboxes eligible for Microsoft rebates with Silver & Gold partnerships?
As M365 Secure is a bundled product, the Microsoft license within the bundle would be eligible for Microsoft incentives.
